After Microsoft and Nokia, Yahoo India confirms its plan to layoff and cut jobs at Bangalore office. Yahoo has in fact been planning to layoff since the beginning of this year. Finally Yahoo confirms to lay off 400 jobs at Bangalore Office. Earlier this year Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella cuts off jobs with restructuring of companies .
A report says that Yahoo is offering 40 percent of the jobless employees jobs in the US - about 1100 people were working at office according to reports. Prachi singh, Manager of Yahoo India said in an email that ‘Yahoo is on a path of sustainable growth, we are looking at other ways to achieve efficiency, innovation and collaboration in our business.’ So we are making many changes and Yahoo will certainly remain in India and Bangalore will be an important office.
