Yamaha MT-125 Street Fighter is the new addition to MT series of motorcycles. This is the first in the street fighter category. After the success of Yamaha MT-07 & MT-09 in United Kingdom, Yamaha has launched MT-125 and it is now available in India which looks almost alike the siblings. This bike will compete the likes of KTM's popular Duke 125. The price of this Street Sports bike is expected to be around Rs 1,40,000 roughly in Indian market.
Yamaha MT-125
Engine & Performance:
Yamaha MT 125 sports 125cc single cylinder liquid-cooled 4-stroke Engine with constant mesh 6 speed manual gearbox. The engine can reach out maximum power of 15PS (14.8bhp) at 9000rpm and maximum torque of about 12.4Nm at 8000rpm. This bike is equipped with a wet, multiple disc coil spring clutch and delta box chassis. The controlling of this bike is amazing as it gets 292mm disc brake at the front and 230mm disc brake at the rear. All these features offer great performance and throttle.

Design & Looks:
This is the most stylish motorcycle you have ever seen in this segment. This bike has been designed with a high-tech LED instrument panel coupled with a bright headlamp which gives better vision and will be very easy for the rider while travelling at night time. The Meter is very well designed and it is fully digital. It has many options like low oil indicator, fuel indicator, battery indicator, digital tripmeter and digital tachometer. Though it is naked bike the design is so good that it looks like a big bike by including a belly protector and wide stylish air intakes.
Suspension & Comfort:
Both Front & Rear suspensions are non-adjustable, but they are firm enough to offer sporty. The upright urban riding position is comfortable for long rides but back seat is not that comfortable. The wide tubeless tyre offers better roadgrip and safety. The front suspension of the vehicle has 41 mm upside down telescopic fork, the rear suspension is linked mono shock with spring preload adjustment. Overall the bike offers great ride quality and comfort.
