19th May, 2015 - a red letter day for China’s ZTE Nubia Z9 Max, when it will be formally launched and marketed in India. Though the company ZTE unveiled its Nubia series of Z9 in Beijing, China on the 6th of this month, it is now set to enter Indian market on this Tuesday. It is to be exclusively marketed by Amazon India. The smart-phone, which will be considered the company’s flagship, is to be priced at the higher price bracket, beyond the reach of a majority of smart-phone users.
Although the complete details of the phone are still to be officially announced, it is learnt that the phone operates on the latest Android OS (Lollipop) and comes with an SLR camera. It has 5.2-inch full HD display with capacitive touch screen. It makes use of the Frame Interactive Technology (FIT), which allows the user to control it by touching the edge of the screen. In the context of the present-day trend, the phone supports dual-SIM configuration. On the front of camera, the device is well-equipped. It has a 16-MP rear camera (5312 x 2988 pixels) with autofocus and LED flash. The front camera is of 8-MP (1080 p), the phone is likely to be popular with those who prefer powerful cameras on their phones.
Nubia Z9 Max is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC with Adreno 430 GPU. It further has 16GB of internal memory and 3GB of RAM. It carries a 2900 mAh non-removable Li-Ion battery that can give power for 666 hours in standby mode and up to 40 hours in talk-time mode. It is available in two shades – black and white. Further important details about the phones specifications are awaited.
